Good grief. How did these plastic bags grow into a big pile on my kitchen floor. Cleaned out from under the stove top and a zillion plastic grocery bags came out. If I had more patience I would have gone through them for the oldest receipts.
Cut the top off a 2-liter bottle, and a small hole in the side (near the bottom). you could probably fit all those baggies into 3 of those. Just one of those holders fits an unbelievable amount of those bags.
I also make smaller ones out of a regular 20 ounce soda or water bottle for keeping garbage bags available in our car.
I have a sack sock that holds a bunch. All these bags were stuffed under my stove top (I have a wall oven) for who knows how many years before I got the sock.
I guess theres a way to make baskets and rugs out plastic bags.
