Reynolds Alaska

Larry Reynolds is the Texas businessman, now Valdez resident, who purchased ex-Alaska governor Murkowski's jet.
Pictured above is his temporary sporting goods store in downtown Valdez on Chitina Dr.

Larry Reynolds has refurbished the 1984 Westwind II jet he bought from the state of Alaska. Reynolds, who plans on chartering the jet to big-game hunters flying around the world, has replaced one of the engines, brakes, upgraded the electrical system and added full Internet and printing capabilities.

>>Edited to add that the video is of when the state of Alaska owned the jet.

From the Texas heat to the cold snow in Valdez and enough money to live anywhere. It's a good choice if you spend summers in Valdez and winters in Texas. That's what I'd do. Whenever I'm talking to 'strangers' and Alaska comes up in the conversation I always tell them that Valdez is the place to see! Really...they respond. Like they've never heard of it. I have to remind them of the big oil spill and then the light dawns.

So...how is life in the cabin? Are you selling soap on the side? Keeping busy??

Thanks for putting the link to Wylies games on your blog for people like me. I'm on the grizzlies web site and they send me e-mail. I'll try to listen/watch his games this weekend. We so much enjoyed his games in Vegas!

I've got the book out on how to download pictures. I'm getting better and soon I'll be putting a picture on the blog!

Have a nice week Kath! Love...mom

Funny ... we were just talking about the jet and whether it was sold or not.
It looks like you guys still have a lot of "breaking up" to do. .. sure glad we didn't get so much snow.
