Niki's miniWerks

Along with The Alaskan Trailer, Niki's miniWerks in Kenny Lake, shows many Alaskan scenes. Like the Chitina Fishwheel Scene pictured below.

Niki's miniWerks is housed in a 20ft Gertee which also serves as The Alaskan HOMESTEADER Museum, office and her workshop.
Camp Redington officially opens August 1, 2008. The Museum is ready for visitors. Inside the 20 foot model gertee at the entrance to the campground, it now has a wolly mammoth thigh and shoulder bone, traps, fossilized King Salmon skulls, carved ivory, Eskimo dolls, Iditarod momentos from the Redington family collection, homesteader pictures, an Alpine memorial, and more. Friendly visitors may be invited to visit the "real" museum (which is actually Tim's whole house). Come see our Alaskan miniature displays of traditional Alaskan lifestyles. Please contact Niki if you would like to lend your pictures, memories of Alaskans passed on, or AK collectibles for display during the summer season.

This is a "to scale" miniature of Niki's dream 20 foot gertee.

She also made the cutting board, tables and chairs. What a talented, creative artist/architect my sister is. I am very proud of her.
Stop in and check it out for yourself at CampRedington.com.
