Many years ago I stayed in Homer several days and had a dozen decadent Kachemak Bay raw oysters on the half-shell every day for lunch. They were plump and so delicious!I developed an intestinal disturbance the following week, and whether or not it was the oysters .. the good news was I lost 10-12 pounds that week.Gosh I'll always remember those fabulous Kachemak Bay oysters ...LOL! yum sister! i remember the way dad grilled them in belfair and i must be a wimp because i decided i like mine with just a squeeze of lemon.
