Chicken and Soup
We got some bad economic news this past week in Valdez. Our local Three Bears store (costco like) is closing! That means we will only have one grocery store in town which is as a non-union Safeway/Eagle Quality Center.
But rumor has it the old store building could be turned into a bowling alley!

I would hate only shopping at Safeway, did you know Costco does bush orders (is Valdez considered the bush?) you can order on line.
Thanks Shelby but I'm sure the bowling alley is just a rumor. :(
Kiana - the soup is a vegetable soup made from the chicken stock with tortellini cheese stuffed ready made noodles. Those are so good if you havn't tried them yet.
Heidi - I'm with you on Safeway. ugg. I'll check out Costco bush orders. We do get the Bush Mailer but I've never ordered from them...yet.
