Now that it is officially summer the streets of Valdez are hoppin' with fishing people. Caught these two fisherwomen on camera making tracks to their boat with brand new halibut poles.

The Valdez Fish Derbies are in full swing with a Slana woman in first place in the Halibut Derby with a 266# flat fish.
