Fresh PWS Shrimp

The shrimp boat came in yesterday so we were dancing last night. These were "smalls" but sweet & tasty. A 5 pound gallon ziplock baggie for $32.50 dock price. Fresh headed uncooked searun PWS shrimp. Mr. FishTaxi cooked some up with his secret recipe for steamed shrimp. (Old Bay Seasoning ) We ate our fill and the cats got some treats. Then we vacuumed sealed and froze the leftover raw shrimp for later days. More fresh shrimp to come!

Sounds wonderful! Fresh...it's been a long long time since I had fresh. I had a bunch of shrimp at the buffet tonight. Good. Also about a couple dozen small clams. I liked the price! Much more expensive down here in the desert.

It was a good price for searun. Most of the shrimp in the stores are farmed.

Big difference in taste. And price.
