Here are a couple of my favorite entries in the Wild Salmon on Parade. I voted for "Canned Salmon" but there are other great ones. Check out the Salmon Gallery to see all of them and vote for your favorite. The clever salmon below is "Silverware Salmon".

Wow, there's a bunch of entries on that website that didn't make it to the state fair. To bad, some of them look really neat.
My favorites that did make it to the fair were the the silverware one you pictured and the cosmic king. Although it's hard to tell just through the picture, the cosmic king was beautifully detailed with brilliant colors of glass and tile.
We met one of the people who did the "board of fish and game". They said anyone can enter... You are GIVEN a fish and $500 dollars to make one. I thought that was crazy, haha.
I read they did give you the fish once they accepted your idea drawing. What I didn't know is that they gave you $500 for it! Pretty cool. All the more reason to enter next year.
What they won't think of next! I didn't check out the site but I thought the ones you posted were pretty neat.
It's been awhile since I was able to write anything. Keeps popping away. I'll stop while I'm ahead!
