Maiden Voyage

The old man and the sea built this sail boat and I was honored to be a part of her first trek.

The bottom picture was taken at Robe Lake where I met the builder. We met up Memorial Day at Dock Point and helped him launch her in the ocean.

He called me today from Fairbanks. Home safe and sound from Prince William Sound.

What a beautiful sail boat.
