Showing Off

I was so impressed with this kid I asked if I could take his picture. He backs up and stops for a second right in front of me. He asked what the picture was for and I told him my blog. He seemed to be fine with that and rode off on his unicycle without a care in the world. He was riding with kids on bicycles. They went ahead and this kid, unicycling, caught up with them.

PDubs parking lot sits adjacent to the playground in the middle of the Park Strip. I'll be seeing lots of kids showing off this summer I'm sure.

Great shot! I have not seen one of those in years. I cannot believe how much snow you still have, I thought we were having a late spring! By fishing season, you should still have plenty of snow to keep your catch fresh until you pop them into those little cans. I would ike to come over there and fish Silver Salmon one day. I have a life long friend that skippers one of the large tractor tugs that they use to escort the tankers in and out of port. On their return rtrip in from escorting a tanker out, they troll right off the tug for silver salmon and have some great fishing. I always tease him that he is the only person alive that has a $10 million dollar fishing boat! Havde a wonderful dvkwrome day!

We were 11 ft shy of our average annual snowfall this past winter. Nobody missed it down here.

Now, Thompson Pass holds the North American continent for the most snowfall.

We do get snow on the pass all year around for our coolers.

Come over in August for the Silver Salmon Derby. You could hop on the ferry in Whittier and sail into Valdez.

Doesn't cost much for a walk on. And you won't need a car. Just bring a big cooler on wheels:)

Wow, that playground.... I can't believe there's that much snow left either. Does your yard still have snow too? Maybe you need to take a short vacation this direction till it all melts!

My driveway is clear and everywhere we shoveled and plowed.

Snow is going fast now!
